What is checked during the purchase check?
We check the frame and fork for damage and deformation, the wheels, spokes and tyres, the brakes for function and wear, gears and drivetrain (chain, cassette, derailleur), the bearings (headset, bottom bracket, hubs) as well as lighting and safety equipment.
Do I get the result in writing?
The purchase check gives you an honest verbal assessment: whether the asking price is justified, which repairs are due and what they would cost. If you need written documentation, our cost estimate with damage and photo documentation is the right service (€50 flat rate per bike).
Can I bring the bike in without an appointment?
Yes. No appointment is needed — just drop by in the morning between 9 am and 12 pm with the bike. If you'd like to come after 12 noon, just send us a quick WhatsApp message or call to check if we have time on the spot.
What happens if the bike has faults?
We tell you which repairs are due and what they would cost. You then decide for yourself whether to buy the bike anyway or keep looking.
