Cost estimate for bicycles
Written cost estimate and detailed damage documentation for all kinds of bikes — individually prepared, with thorough photo documentation and suitable for insurance companies, accident settlements and damage claims.
Professional proof — when you need it.
Our cost estimates are aimed at private customers, accident claimants, insurance companies and anyone who needs professional, written proof of the condition and repair costs of their bike.
Every cost estimate is individually prepared for the specific bike and carefully documented — suitable for insurance, accident settlements, damage claims and general damage assessment.
Please note: we do not prepare official expert appraisals — our written cost estimates incl. photo documentation are, in practice, generally accepted by bicycle and household contents insurers.

When preparing a cost estimate we inspect the bike thoroughly and document every damage and defect we find.

Cost estimate: €50 — flat, all inclusive.
Preparing a professional cost estimate takes significant time. Every bike is inspected, photographed, documented and assessed individually. That's why we charge a flat fee of €50.
The flat fee covers the inspection, detailed damage documentation, thorough photo report and preparation of the written cost estimate.
Please note
The cost estimate is prepared for a specific vehicle and refers exclusively to the inspected bike with the documented frame number. We do not prepare official expert appraisals.
FAQ
How much does a cost estimate for my bike cost?
€50 flat fee per bike. Includes inspection, detailed damage documentation, thorough photo report and the written cost estimate.
Do I need an appointment or can I just drop by?
You can drop your bike off in the morning between 9 am and 12 pm without an appointment at our workshop at Friesenstraße 24 in Berlin-Kreuzberg. For afternoon slots or more extensive assessments we recommend a quick call or WhatsApp message ahead.
Is the cost estimate the same as a repair?
No. The cost estimate only covers the inspection and the written damage and photo documentation. The actual repair is a separate job charged at our regular workshop rates.
Do you also prepare expert appraisals for insurance claims?
We do not prepare official expert appraisals (like the ones sometimes required for motor vehicle damage), but our written cost estimates including photo documentation are, in practice, generally accepted by bicycle and household contents insurers. For larger or disputed claims we recommend briefly checking with your insurer beforehand which documents exactly they need.
